Lifesaving support for hospitals in Kerala.
The Arada Foundation sent more than 1,000 pieces of urgently needed medical equipment to Kerala, India, to support the state government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic through the Care for Kerala initiative.
The donation included ventilators, oxygen concentrators and fingertip pulse oximeters with a total value of INR1 crore, helping hospitals respond to a shortage of emergency equipment during a sharp rise in cases. The items were sourced from manufacturers and delivered directly to the Government of Kerala for distribution to hospitals across the state.
The initiative recognised the deep ties between the UAE, Sharjah and Kerala, and demonstrated the Foundation’s commitment to supporting communities in need both locally and internationally during times of health crisis.
