A home mean safety, dignity and a chance to rebuild.

Through the Home for a Home initiative, the Arada Foundation, in partnership with the Big Heart Foundation and UNHCR, committed to supporting refugee families in Chad by providing safe housing and access to clean water. For every home sold by Arada during Ramadan, a home would be funded for a family forced to flee conflict and displacement.

Implemented in eastern Chad, where hundreds of thousands of Sudanese refugees have sought safety, the initiative aims to provide durable housing for families while also improving access to essential water, sanitation and hygiene services. Alongside the homes, an emergence water system is being developed to suppprt approximately 30,000 people living in refugee settlements.

Now in its fourth year, Home for a Home reflects a simple but powerful belief: that everyone deserves a safe place to call home/ Since its launch in 2022, the programme has supported vulnerable communities across multiple countries, and demonstarted how aprtnerships can create lasting impact for families afafcted by displacement and crisis.
